
Sean Tyrell has been a disability rights advocate since he was elected President of Young Blind Citizens in 1999.
He has worked as a public servant with the Victorian and Australian governments for more than 20 years and lives in the inner Melbourne suburb of Brunswick with his partner Jane, daughter Josie and guide dog Kamin.
He holds an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Australian and New Zealand School of Government and wrote his public policy Honours thesis on the Disability Discrimination Act.
