Trevor Jones has been a below knee amputee since 25th of September 2019 when his left leg was amputated, having an amputation totally changed Trevor’s life which he persevered with living in a wheelchair for the next 381 days and after having further intervention to have the wound on his left stump heal correctly.

As a retired person Trevor is the Secretary of an ex-military service association which looks after the welfare of ex-military service personnel.

Trevor is the Consumer Representative for the Australian Diabetes Clinical Quality Registry which is managed by Monash University in Melbourne Victoria.

Trevor is also a member of Limbs4Life, and is a Peer Support Volunteer for the organisation.

Trevor is also a Consumer Representative with the Harry Perkins Institute on the development of a drug called Atherid which is designed to remove plaque from blood vessels.

On the 8th of January 2024 Trevor had an amputation of his right leg below the knee making him a bilateral amputee and this once again totally changed his life for a second time, virtually having to learn how to live life by adapting to home life and learning to walk with two prosthetic limbs which is an ongoing process.
