Peter Simpson

Peter was born and raised on a dairy farm on the mid north coast of NSW and moved to Sydney when he finished school. He has lived in Wentworthville for 30 years, has two young adult children, and runs an access consultancy business – PSE Access Consulting.

Peter’s disability is hereditary, a condition he shares with two brothers and a cousin. It is similar to Frederik’s Ataxia and affected his ability to walk as a child. Peter now relies on a wheelchair for mobility.

Peter has been involved with various disability organisations and access committees over his career – including Physical Disability Council NSW, the Aviation Access Forum and working groups for Access to Premises and Disability Transport Standards.
